This quote is a guiding motivator that hangs in the barn at Point Pleasant Angus in Bland, Virginia, and it’s evident in the way this incredible family has shaped their Angus program.

With multiple generations gathered for a great day of price discovery in the cattle business, my heart was warmed by the wonderful people and sense of community that filled the auction barn on sale day.

And we got to see the Point Pleasant “$P” index in action with their lead heifer bringing a commanding $135,000!

As I look back on the 17 years I’ve spent on the road speaking, I’ve presented on a lot of big stages, in front of thousands of people, and translated into five languages, but if you can find me in a barn talking to my friends in the beef business and maybe reading “Levi’s Lost Calf” to the kids, I’m absolutely in my happy place!
