My family has been raising Limousin cattle since 1982. I got my start in the business at age four when my grandpa, Alvin Nolz, gave me my first replacement heifer. We are a seedstock business, selling bulls, heifers and bred females by private treaty on our ranch in Mitchell, SD. Learn more about our business at www.nolzlimousin.com or find us on Facebook at NOLZ Limousin.
In 2010, I married Tyler Radke, who started his own herd of Maine Anjou cattle at 12 years old. Today, we live just a half-mile down the road from my family’s ranch and run Limousin and Maine Anjou cattle. Find us on Facebook at Radke Cattle Co. for information about our fall female sale and the bulls we have on consignment annually at events including the Sioux Empire Farm Show, Black Hills Stock Show and Nebraska Cattlemen’s Classic.
We love raising our kids — Scarlett, Thorne and Croix — on the ranch. It’s a great way instill a hard work ethic while teaching them to love the land, the livestock and the people we are raising food for. I love sharing my passion for agriculture with others through my blog, my books and my speaking events.
